Under the direct guidance of the President of the University of Basrah, the Director of his Office, Mr. Ali Abdul-Razzaq, conducted a field visit to the Central Library, where he was received by its Director General, Assistant Lecturer Samir Mohammed Jassim.
​The visit aimed to inspect the reality of the services provided to students and researchers, as well as to follow up on the maintenance and rehabilitation works implemented by the Department of Diwan Affairs as part of the university's plan to upgrade its cultural and scientific infrastructure.
​The field tour included various departments of the library to oversee the workflow and identify actual needs, ensuring the improvement of the scientific research environment and the development of services offered to beneficiaries.
​The visit concluded with an emphasis on following up on the implementation of the proposed recommendations, reflecting the University of Basrah's commitment to enhancing the role of its Central Library as a leading institution serving the academic and research journey.
